Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tested positive
for coronavirus and the club's game against
Brighton on Saturday has been postponed.
The Gunners have closed their training ground and club staff who had recent contact with Arteta willnow self-isolate.
The Premier League will hold "an emergency club
meeting" on Friday to discuss future fixtures.
The club were due to face Brighton in the Premier
League at Amex Stadium on Saturday (15:00 GMT)
but Brighton released a statement, shortly after
confirmation of Arteta's positive test, announcing
that the game had been suspended till further notice.
Chelsea reacted to Hudson-Odoi's positive
coronavirus test by partially closing their
training facilities, with Saturday's scheduled
Premier League meeting with Aston Villa at
Stamford Bridge now likely to be postponed.
The Blues have also cancelled Frank Lampard's
usual pre-match news conference, with the
entire men's squad, coaching staff
and backroom staff set to join Hudson-Odoi in
self-isolation.
Hudson odoi sent a message to his supporters via social media offering an update on his health
"I do wish to wish to be back on the pitch very soon"
