Updated: CORONAVIRUS  Nigeria confirmed second death case  MINISTER OF HEALTH,OSAIGE EHANIRE On 30th of march the federal government lock down Lagos,Ogun and Ibadan state due to the population of people who are infected with the virus    The second case of COVID-19 was confirmed also on the 30th of March since the first case was confirmed on the 27th February,2020 and the number of peoples who are infected was increased to 132 patients,8 patients were also discharged and the total number of die was 2.  This was announced by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, at a press conference in Benin City, Edo State capital. Mr Ehanire said the confirmed case was not imported, when compared to the previous case. This case was detected in one of the contacts traced from the index case. Six patients recover from coronavirus in Nigeria Nigeria recorded six patients who are suffering from coronavirus are set to recovered fully from the virus.All the six patients are in Lagos state. On the 25th of March,the total number of people infected are 51 with two recoveries and one death. A report by the local newspaper The Cable says a total of 178 tests have been run in Nigeria as a whole. Lagos alone has undertaken 88 of the figure with 52 in Abuja, the federal capital territory.The Federal Government announces the plan to ban all motor park,market and inter-state travel  to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

CORONAVIRUS:DEATH CONFIRMED IN NIGERIA Lagos:Nigeria reported their first victim whose name was Suleiman Achumugu,former managing director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), died at 2am on Monday at the age of 67.The deceased returned from United kingdom two weeks ago and also he is an indigene of kogi state He was said to have started exhibiting the symptoms of the virus on Tuesday and the case was reported to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) who took his blood specimen for a test. Acording to a source, his family members reportedly under quarantine in their house. The agency said the confirmed number of infections in Nigeria had now risen to 36, with cases registered in largest city Lagos, the capital Abuja and four other states. Africa has so far registered lower numbers than the rest of the globe with around 1,500 confirmed cases and 50 deaths -- but testing has been patchy.

A full time student in Lagos state polythenic committed sucide on 14th March,2020  The main reason why she did that is still unknown to her friends and parents.  Can it be  because of school fees? or  because her boy friend was not in a relationship with her anymore,many people thought of it but why she took her own life can't be figure out. Bisi,a full time student in Agricultural department and also ND 2 student have gone to soon. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen!!!!

 Pipeline explosion  at the Abule-Ado area around Festac town in Amuwo Odofin local govt lagos state.  The fire outbreak  has destroyed  neighbouring areas,building, property including a school An eyewitness said that a tipper offloading sand caught fire, which spread to a nearby pipeline and makes the incident  to occur. The director-general of LASEMA Dr Femi Osanyintolu confirmed that the pipeline had earlier been vandalized by unknown persons. Many nearby houses have been destroyed by the fire outbreak  while the explosion damaged buildings around the area and its environment.  The Lagos State Fire Service says there are buildings on fire in Ado Soba, Abule-Ado, and Amuwo-Odo. PIPELINE EXPLODES IN LAGOS An explosion, suspected to be from crude oil pipelines, has occurred in Abule Ado, Lagos. This incident happened at about 9 a.m. on Sunday  Several houses were affected,including a girls’ Catholic boarding school. It is still unclear if there is any fatality.
