 The Federal Government has extended the deadline for millions of Nigerians who are unable to link their National Identity numbers (NINs) with Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards to February 9. The mobile network operators (MNOs) said the Federal Government granted a further extension of the deadline to February 9 to allow subscribers who are yet to sync their SIMs with their NINs to do so. They also promised to start enrolling citizens to National Identity Database (NIDB) of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to ease the frustration,desperation and extortion of people by desiring to get enrolled and get their NINs by unscrupulous elements. The MNOs, acting under the aegis of the Association of Licensed Telecommunication Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), in a statement, said it had received confirmation of the deadline extension from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Abdul Afusat Opeyemi got involved in car accident on her way back to her hostel in Ikorodu to write her exam which started on the 5th of October and ended 9th of October,2020. Lagos state government has made a plan for reopening of schools in the state for both private and government schools On the 29th August 2020, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the tentative reopening for both private and secondary schools should commence on September 21. According to the state Ministry of Education,Folasade Adefisayo announced that only the present JSS3 and SSS2 students will be allow to resume on Monday,21 September. SCHOOL RESUMPTION DATE  IS NOT FIXED The Federal government exposed the falseness idea about schools resuming on July 13.According to the false report, the Federal Ministry of Education announced July 13 as the resumption date of schools for Jss3,SS3 and final year students in university across the country.The report was also spread across some social media sites and also in which student believe it real. New law:If You Are Not Up To This Age,You Can not Gain Admission Into Secondary School In Nigeria   Lagos State Government has stated the new age of students to be giving admission into secondary school,the new law is going to be effective from the beginning of next section. The new age of students should be twelve and above before they can enrol in secondary school and this law is applicable to both private and public school,any students below this age can not be given admission. The Ministry of Education announced that ,Lagos State Government has given a  fine of N50,000 has been proposed for first offenders and N100,000 fine for second offenders as well as warning letters to close an erring school in case of any violation. All principals should be aware of this rules and failure to obey this rules and regulations would be fine the sum of 50,000 to 100,000 and also new directive will be strictly enforced by agencies of education in the state.

Six patients recover from coronavirus in Nigeria Nigeria recorded six patients who are suffering from coronavirus are set to recovered fully from the virus.All the six patients are in Lagos state. On the 25th of March,the total number of people infected are 51 with two recoveries and one death. CORONAVIRUS:DEATH CONFIRMED IN NIGERIA Lagos:Nigeria reported their first victim whose name was Suleiman Achumugu,former managing director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), died at 2am on Monday at the age of 67.The deceased returned from United kingdom two weeks ago and also he is an indigene of kogi state He was said to have started exhibiting the symptoms of the virus on Tuesday and the case was reported to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) who took his blood specimen for a test.
